Have you priced doormats lately? Outrageous! I've been looking for a new one, and am absolutely stupefied by what people will pay for wiping their feet.
World Market has a nice selection of reasonably priced doormats, I have displayed 12 of them, the link takes you to 13 different designs on their site. These are the best I have found for the price and design.
Using coupon code "SDAZE2008" will get you an extra 10% off these mats or anything else on their site. Tack on about $6 for tax and shipping and your total price will still be under $20 for some of the lower-priced ones.
These are all natural fiber coir mats and most have vinyl backing I think, size 30"Wx18"D for most of them.
Addendum: I received my doormat about 4 days after I ordered it and was pleased with the quality. It's about 3/4-inch thick and does have a rubber backing underneath. The colors are vibrant. I ordered the "Autumn" stripe.
